Everyone speaks some kind of English, restaurant food is safe, and prescriptions are legit. Prescriptions: There are two main pharmacy companies in Algodones, each with multiple stores. The "Purple" Pharmacy is Liquis. (480 745-1783 or info@grupo-liquis.com) They are the largest, closest to the border, and the one we recommend.  Theywill match any other prices. They accept the U.S. dollar, Visa, and Mastercard with no conversion fee. They accept American Express with a conversion fee. Also confirm with the pharmacy that you will be able to transport the medications across the border. There are limits on quantity and certain drugs.
